Annie Calhoon named Carthage Tiger Excellence Award Recipient for Grades 9-12

We are proud to spotlight Annie Calhoon, the 2025 Tiger Excellence Award Winner for Grades 9–12! With over 30 years of service, Annie has dedicated her career to making math accessible, meaningful, and successful for every student. She’s known for her high standards, her deep care for each student, and the curriculum she’s built to meet learners right where they are.

A mentor to countless teachers and a steady presence in her department, Annie’s influence stretches across generations of Tigers. As she prepares to retire, we celebrate her legacy of excellence. Mrs. Calhoon exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose, heart, and a lifelong passion for teaching.
